The Fall 2003 Foreign Film Fest continues this Thursday, Nov. 6, with the following two films:
"Nueba Yol" Comedy in Spanish, 1995, about a Dominican immigrant and his first contact with New York City.
Introduced by Jorge Alas.
"Nowhere in Africa" Drama in German, English and Swahili, 2001, about a Jewish family that emigrates to Kenya in 1938.
Introduced by Hildegard Klein-Bodenheimer.
All events will take place in Monroe A and B in the Campus Center. Arrive at 6:00 p.m. to mingle and sample some ethnic nibbles. The films will be introduced at 6:30 p.m. Two films will be shown concurrently on each of the specified dates. All films have English subtitles. The Foreign Film Fest is free and open to the public.
