Red Wings Opening Day is Tuesday, April 2!!

Opening Day is Tuesday, April 2!!  We are looking for current full-time MCC employees who are interested in joining our Innovative Field team this summer!  

This is a fun, outdoor position, and includes collecting parking fees, directing traffic, and ensuring the efficiency and orderly nature of parking during Red Wings baseball games and other events at Innovative Field.  Employees who voluntarily choose to work these assignments will be paid $20.00/hour for each hour worked in this capacity.  Not only do you get to work outdoors, you can go into the games for free after your shift and get discounted food - now who wouldn't like that!

Time spent working at the parking lot cannot conflict with your regular MCC working hours, and will not be counted as overtime.  Pay will be calculated separately from your regular employment at the College.

The decision to assist the College in this endeavor is strictly voluntary, and employees may sign up to work as many or as few events as they choose.  Public Safety employees are not eligible to participate in these opportunities due to the nature of their employment with the College.
