Mini Baja Team Succeeds in Regional Competition

The MCC Mini Baja team is back from a strong showing at the Society of Automotive Engineers Regional Competition that was held in Greeneville, South Carolina, April 8th through 11. The team improved on its summer showing by placing 59th overall and a fantastic 22nd in the four-hour endurance race, besting such institutions as the University of Rochester, RIT, SUNY Buffalo, West Point, Clarkson, and SUNY Binghamton.

The team thanks the college community for all their support, especially the MCC Student Association, Professors Dave Leach (Applied Technologies), Robert Gerenski (Applied Technologies), and John Wadach (Engineering Science & Physics). Special thanks to alumnus Richard Bucholz, MCC Class of 2004.
