Strategic Planning Leadership Team December Update

The 16-member Strategic Planning Leadership Team (SPLT), led by the two co-chairs, has been meeting bi-weekly since the beginning of November. During this period, we have gotten to know one another more and build a “team approach” for the work to come. The team has discussed reading materials and facilitated dialogue about higher education themes to support and set the foundation for our efforts. In addition, the team engaged in an MCC values proposition exercise.

SPLT co-chairs conducted interviews with three strategic planning consultant finalists; Collaborative Brain Trust (CBT) was selected. In January, CBT will begin meeting with college leadership and with the SPLT.
