The Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) office would like to welcome faculty to join Amber Kallassy, coordinator of the Services for Students with Disabilities Office, for a presentation focused on assisting students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the classroom. The presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 29th from 11:00 am-noon in the Flynn Campus Center, Room 3-117.
Amber will discuss the characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder, highlighting the student’s perspective in the classroom and strategies to address specific behaviors in the classroom. We will leave time at the end of the presentation for an open discussion, so please bring questions related to the topic!
