MCC’s advertising campaign for spring semester student recruitment starts this week with television and radio commercials. A digital marketing campaign also begins that includes tactics such as paid search (Google keywords), Facebook and Instagram advertising, and retargeting. Retargeting means internet ads will be sent to prospects who have visited www.monroecc.edu
. The digital campaign includes ads on MCC in general, online learning, and programs including criminal justice and addictions counseling.
In January, MCC will also have a billboard on I-490 eastbound, targeting commuters heading into Rochester from the west side of the region.
Direct marketing for spring semester recruitment has been underway for several months. Special events hosted by Enrollment Management, including Women to Women and College 101 for Parents, have also targeted prospects.
As always, word-of-mouth advertising is one of the most powerful tactics. If you have friends or family members thinking about new career options, finishing that degree, or just getting started – encourage them to enroll at MCC.
