File Your Taxes for Free with NYS Tax Department Members on February 3rd

The NYS Tax Department employees will be on the Brighton campus, in Room 11-101, to assist you in-person to prepare and e-file your taxes.  Sessions start on Monday, February 3, 2025. 

  • If you earned $84,000 or less in 2024, you qualify
  • Safe and secure online tax software
  • Use on-site computers, or your own laptop, tablet, or mobile device
  • You only need basic computer skills and an active e-mail account.

You must pre-register and schedule an appointment.  Sessions are available from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.  For additional information, a list of necessary documents, and to schedule a session visit the Tax Assistance Program website.

Additional dates: February 24; March 10; March 24 & April 7.
