Constitution Day Activities at Brighton Campus

Constitution Day is a federally-mandated day to educate citizens about the Constitution.  This year's events at Brighton Campus will take place on Monday, September 18, starting at 1:00 PM.

At 1:00 a panel of speakers will discuss the Constitution and the impact it has on higher education.  Following the discussion, Dr. Susan Salvador, Vice President of Student Services, will lead the school in the recitation of the Preamble to the United States Constitution.  After the reading of the Preamble, students are invited to participate in a mock signing of the Constitution.

Additionally, throughout the day, flyers will be distributed with Constitution trivia on them.  Students are encouraged to answer the questions and submit them at the event or by dropping them off at the Student Government office, 3-127, for a chance to win a prize from the Brighton Bookstore or OutFlakes! Cereal Bar and Cafe.

The events are sponsored by the Student Government Association.
