Students use Handshake and you can too!

Welcome to the Spring 2025 semester! Students continue to seek on-campus employment opportunitites and visit the Career Services Office asking how to find out which departments are hiring student workers. Please remember to post your positions in Handshake! Career Services has created an MCC On-campus Jobs Handshake account in order to centralize our on-campus student employment posting system for both Federal Work Study and non-Work Study positions. Handshake is a modern platform for college recruiting and offers your team many great new features like:

  • Managing all your on-campus recruiting needs
  • Having students apply right through Handshake, getting alerted when they apply, and viewing the applicants in the system
  • Updating your job postings and re-using without having to re-enter them every year

But the biggest benefit of all is this system will make it easier for students to find on-campus jobs! It will also get them familiar with using Handshake for future job searches.
