MCC's Contributions at the Society of College & University Planning's North Atlantic Regional Conference

The Society of College & University Planning (SCUP) held their North Atlantic Regional Conference in Rochester on March 10-12 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. While this was a regional conference, it drew approximately 300 attendees from 15 states, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Please join me in acknowledging the MCC employees who contributed to the success of the conference. Valarie Avalone, Director, Institutional Planning, Effectiveness and Accountability; Joel Frater, Executive Dean, Downtown Campus; and Blaine Grindle, Associate Vice President for Facilities, presented The Kodak Legacy Reimagined: From Factory to Educational Institution.

Frater and Avalone spent several months serving on the local conference planning committee and took a lead role in shaping the plenary sessions and selecting the presenters. President Anne Kress was a featured speaker on the plenary panel Current Issues in Higher Education.

In addition, Avalone facilitated an eight hour pre-conference training of SCUP Planning Institute 1.
