Renowned local artists to perform at Foundation’s Salute to Excellence

The Monroe Community College Foundation and the Chesonis Family invite you to “Experience Rochester” at the 19th Annual Salute to Excellence, Wednesday evening, Dec. 10, at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

Tickets are $100 per person; $75 for MCC faculty, staff and students. Proceeds from the annual dinner support student scholarships, faculty grants and educational innovation at MCC.

Guests will be entertained by Rochester’s leading performing artists—representing Garth Fagan Dance, Rochester Oratorio Society, RPO, Rochester City Ballet and even “Walter the Accordion Guy”—as they honor the philanthropy of Pamela A. and Arunas A. Chesonis and the lifetime achievements of Brenda Babitz.

The MCC Foundation Board of Directors will present the Salute to Excellence Award to Pamela A. and Arunas A. Chesonis for their community leadership and philanthropic contributions to the community and MCC.

The foundation board will also present its first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award to Brenda Babitz for her efforts to promote philanthropy at Monroe Community College and throughout the Rochester community. Babitz served as president of the MCC Foundation for 18 years.
