President's Wednesday Message

Throughout MCC's first week back, I heard from students and parents about how welcomed they felt at our College. They shared stories about employees walking them from office to office to help them find their way, about students and staff at the Trib411 who offered kind words and smiles, about members of our community who stopped anyone looking at a map to give directions, about members of our Public Safety department who assisted students who forgot where they parked, and about our more than 50 employees and students who served as "helping hands" during our residence hall move-in. These Tribune moments make MCC special: they contribute to the quality of our learning environment, build our community, and support the success of our students. You make these moments possible.

So, for this week's Wednesday Message, I want to offer you the chance to give a shout out to a colleague or a student who made the first week inspiring. Please share your Tribune spotlight moment in the comment section on the blog.
