Graduating Together: A Commemorative Video Brought to You by CAB & SEGA

On behalf of Campus Activities Board (CAB) and Student Events and Governance Association (SEGA),

We're thrilled to announce our "Graduating Together" commemorative video streaming Saturday, May 30th at 1:00 PM (zoom info below). This video is dedicated to our graduating students, both recognizing their resilience and acknowledging their delayed commencement ceremony (commencement has been delayed tentatively to Dec. 3).

This idea was initiated by the students of CAB and SEGA, quickly turning into reality after gaining the confidence and support of the college administration. This video will be a compilation of video clips submitted by faculty, staff, and administrators congratulating our graduates and commemorating their accomplishments.

We welcome any faculty or staff member to send a video greeting which we will include in the final version. Your video should be 10 to 20 seconds in length and be submitted by May 23rd. We encourage creativity and direct shout-outs to any cohort, such as to student groups/teams from specific schools/programs/athletics/etc. Additionally, submitted videos should adhere to the following specifications:

    • 1080p or higher resolution
    • .mov or .mp4 file formats
    • If you use a phone to capture the footage keep it horizontal
    • Avoid windows or any other strong backlight behind the subject(s)
    • Avoid locations with loud ambient noise that can drown out the subjects voice
    • Try to place as much of yourself or group in the frame as possible (no floating heads, etc.)

Clips can be submitted via email to Dana Voldan-Curry at dvoldancurry@monroecc.edu by May 23rd.
