The report of the annual pass rates for the NCLEX-RN licensing exam was distributed this week. 97% of MCC graduates taking the exam for the first time passed in 2011. The pass rate was 84% for New York State and 88% nationally. This measure of competence is a testament of the quality of the nursing program and its faculty and staff, as well as evidence of our graduates’ ability to enter their new profession as knowledgeable, capable registered nurses.
