English Department Adjunct Professor Nominated for Screenwriting Award & Appearing in Film

Associate English Adjunct Professor, Bridgette Yaxley, has earned a nomination into the semi-finals of a world-wide screenwriting competition where her award-winning screenplay, Perjury, is under review for production and distribution. She has completed three screenplays over the summer, and was retained as a creative writer for three episodic TV series that have each been greenlit. Yaxley can be seen in a short film she co-starred in called The Thirty Year Crash (2019) now airing in major cinemas preceding the feature presentation.
