Massages still available on All College Day

Follow-up to Monday’s announcement:

Gilda’s Club Fundraising Raffle

Barb Litterio, Deneen Rhode and Janet Dalke, of the Health & Physical Education Department, are close to completing a 16 week training program  to walk in the Rochester half-marathon on September 14, 2008.

They joined “Gilda’s Gang” in May and pledged to raise a minimum of $1500 for Gilda’s Club of Rochester.  Gilda's Club provides a meeting place for men, women and children living with cancer, along with their family and friends. They join with others to build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care.

While Barb, Deneen and Janet have been busy walking, they’ve also been busy fundraising.  For their final effort, they have put together a bag full of goodies to be raffled off on All College Day. Items include a handcrafted tote bag donated by Karen Cardillo, hardwood cutting board, cheese knife and wine stopper donated by Doug Dalke, two bottles of wine, wine glasses, and more donated by Deneen Rhode, and a ½ hour massage donated by Barb Litterio.  Raffle tickets are being sold for $1.00 each. If you purchase ten tickets, you will receive a FREE 10 minute table or chair massage during the picnic on All College Day.  Therapists will be set up in the corner patio between Bldg. 1 & 6.  Please stop by to view the goodie bag, purchase raffle tickets and sign up for you massage! Limited spots still available.

The raffle winner will be announced in the Trib after All College Day.
