Tribune Hall Celebrates Cinco de Mayo!

In honor of Cinco de Mayo and to help students deal with the stress of the end of the semester, Senoras Betty Smith and Donna Burke, from the Counseling, International and Veterans Services Office visited Resident Director Margaret Whelehan and the residents of Tribune Hall on Sunday, May 5th .  They shared tips on preparation for finals and stress management techniques. Margaret and the students made walking tacos!

Here’s the recipe: Take one snack size bag of Doritos or Fritos, gently crush the bag, turn bag on the side and cut it long way. Cook ground beef or turkey with taco seasoning and add 3-4 spoonfuls
to the bag. Then add shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa or pico de gallo,  and sour cream if desired. And voilà you have a taco in a bag! For best (and neatest) results we suggest eating with a spoon or fork.  Enjoy!
