Open Forums for Faculty Senate Bylaws Amendment Proposal

The Faculty Senate Nominations, Elections, and Governance Committee, with support from the Executive Committee and the full Faculty Senate, submits for general faculty review an amendment proposal to revise Article VI of the Senate Bylaws (“Elections”).

Open forums are scheduled as follows:

*         Tuesday, May 31, noon to 1:00pm at the Damon City Campus (Conference Room 4151)

*         Wednesday, June 1, noon to 1:00pm at the Brighton Campus (Room 5-200)

A member of the NEG Committee will be available to answer questions starting at noon in both locations.  The open forums will run only as long as is needed for questions to be answered, which may mean that one or both may not run the whole hour. Please make arrangements to arrive at the start of the forums if you are interested.

Those unable to attend may direct their questions, comments or concerns to Michael Heel, NEG Chair, via email.

A full faculty vote on this proposed amendment is expected for mid-June.
