You are invited to attend “Improving Learning in Undergraduate STEM,” the 2014 Spring meeting of Project Kaleidoscope’s Upstate NY regional network. MCC is hosting the event on April 5, 2014, 9:15-4:00PM. Join colleagues from institutions across upstate NY for an engaging day exploring ideas and approaches to improve STEM student learning, including a keynote address on “Metacognition and Implications for STEM instruction” and breakout sessions to share new pedagogies, best practices, and a potential partnership between RIT and two-year institutions.
To learn more about the program and to register, visit https://www.aacu.org/pkal/regionalnetworks/PKALUNY_2014SpringMtg.cfm. The registration deadline is March 26. Xerox STEM grant funds are available to offset the cost of registration. Contact Lydia Tien (x2397 or <mailto:ltien@monroecc.edu>) for more information.
