A special thanks goes out to all those involved in yesterday’s Rock The Vote event at Damon City Campus. This event was sponsored by Black Student Union at DCC, The Democracy Commitment, and Service-Learning Project with the assistance from SEGA.
The message of registering over 160 students this past September and now time to get out and vote was well received and articulated our guests which included Senators Joe Robach, Ted O'Brien, Assemblyman Joe Morrelle, candidates Peter Vasques and Ernest Flagler – Mitchell, representatives from the Green Party, and Dave Garretson, chair of the Monroe County Democratic Committee. Specials thanks to DJ Dana, and our student leaders for representing as well.
