Thomas Pollizi Receives Administrative Services Employee Award

Thomas Pollizi (Tom) pictured below, is the latest recipient of the Administrative Services Award for Diligence and Conscientious Performance beyond the call of duty.  Tom, as I’m sure you all know, works in the college’s shipping and receiving office.

You will see Tom carting materials from one end of campus to the other through crowded hallways, moving pieces of furniture from one office to another, or relocating entire departments, but he always does it with a positive, friendly and responsive approach.

Tom’s high degree of professionalism certainly gets noticed by the college community and that is just one of the many reasons he was chosen for the Administrative Services Division’s 4th Quarter Award for 2008.  Heze Simmons, vice president of administrative services, presented Tom with this award and gift card to Dinosaur BBQ at the Controller’s Committee meeting on Tuesday, February 24, 2009.

The next time you see Tom coming down the hall carting or delivering material, congratulate him on a well-deserved award.
