Reminder - Monroe County Clerk to be on Campus to Process Passport Applications Next Week


Passport Applications Offered on Campus

If you are going away and need a passport the Monroe County Clerk’s Office will be on campus Wednesday, October 24 to process paperwork.

Human Resources and MCC will once again be partnering with the Monroe County Clerk's Office to provide you with the opportunity to apply for a passport here on campus on Wednesday, October 24 between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center, Monroe B.  This is open to all faculty and staff along with their family members.  If you have family members coming on campus for this, please have them park in Lot M – behind Building 3.  Applications will be available that day.

When applying for a passport, please be prepared to provide the following:

Proof of U.S. citizenship in one of three forms: a certified copy of your birth certificate with a raised seal and your parent’s names; original naturalization papers, or an old U.S. passport issued in your name. Minors under age 16 will need their birth certificate with a raised seal and their parent’s names even if they have an old passport

Two identical passport photos, 2" x 2" with a white background and a full front view of your head and shoulders. Pictures must be taken within the last six months. Pictures will be taken that day by the Monroe County Clerk’s Office for a fee of $7 per set.

Please make checks out to the Department of State.  These fees are as follows:

For Adult applications:

Adult Passport Book and Card $140 + $25
Adult Passport Book                            $110 + $25
Adult Passport Card                             $30 + $25

For Minor applications (under 16):

Minor Passport Book and Card            $95 + $25
Minor Passport Book                           $80 + $25
Minor Passport Card                            $15 + $25

The$25 processing fee noted above is payable to the Monroe County Clerk.

Cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards are also accepted.

Applicants between the ages of 16 to 18 must appear with a parent or legal guardian.
Applicants under the age of 16 must appear with BOTH PARENTS.
