Congratulations to the 2019 One-Act Play Winners

The Sixth Act is pleased to congratulate the following students on winning the 2019 One-Act Play Contest

  • Salma Marte Velez for "Thinly Shadowed Veil"
  • Markus Yeager for "The Hitman"
  • Michelle Loewke for "Plumbing"

Thank you to the Student Awards Committee, Tina Woodruff, and all those who encouraged students to enter.

The three plays will be presented in a staged reading at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, in the Blackbox Theater. The performance is open to the public; however, space is limited, so those planning to attend should RSVP to Angelique Stevens at astevens@monroecc.edu by May 2. Refreshments will be available.
