Reminder: A Presentation on American Sign Language


"American Sign Language: What It Is and Why So Many People Are Learning It" will be presented by Geoff Poor, professor, Sign Language Faculty at MCC and RIT, from Noon to 12:50 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 5, in Room 12-125 on the Brighton campus of MCC. The event is sponsored by the ESOL and Foreign Languages Department.

Come and learn about the history of American Sign Language and its increasing importance in the Rochester community. You also will learn some useful communication tools in ASL and gain valuable insight on issues pertaining to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
