Associate Professor Pat Donahue, Coordinator of Office Technology for MCC’s Office and Computer Programs Department, spent the day on Tuesday, May 19th at Finger Lakes Community College as a member of the external review committee for their Administrative Assistant Program. Joining Pat as members of that committee were Ms. Jennie E. Barchet from Bausch & Lomb; Ms. Pam Johnson from Passero Associates; and Mr. Mario Domanti, the Human Resources Director for Harris Beach LLP. Professor Mary Wilsey, Chair of FLCC’s Business Department, hosted the event.
Professor Donahue was recently approached by Gloria Morgan, Chair of the Office and Computer Programs Department, to lead the 2009-10 program review of MCC’s Office Technologies programs. “I thought this experience at FLCC would help prepare me for our own program review coming up next year. I feel like I know a bit more of what to expect,” Pat noted, adding, “I think I can also feel more comfortable, now, calling on Mary or other FLCC faculty when the time comes for us to have our external reviewers visit.”
