The Office of Curriculum and Program Development is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2005 Instructional Development Grants. IDGs are awarded annually for curriculum-related faculty projects undertaken during the summer months. This year’s projects include:
Rory Butler for the development of two new courses: Data Warehousing and Database Programming
Jim Coffey and Esther Karp for the development of a new course: Reading in Early Childhood
Bethany Gizzi for the development of a new course: Environmental Sociology
Barry Goldfarb for the development of a new degree in Cinema and Screen Studies
Steve Kilner and Mike Wagner for the development of a new course: Technical Discrete Mathematics
Mary-jo Popovici and Tom Proietti for the development of a new degree in Public Relations
Cathryn Smith and Kathy O’Shea for the development of a new interdisciplinary course: The Nature of Experience
John Striebich for multiple course revisions to enhance the Entrepreneurial Track within the Business Administration AAS degree.
John Wadach, Al Knebel and Kevin Soule for the development of two new teaching modules: the ENR 151 Matlab Module and the ENR 154 Matlab Teaching Module
