John Striebich Makes Presentation to American Marketing Association Conference on Predictive Analytics
John Striebich, professor, Business Administration/Economics department, was the key note speaker on Thursday evening, June 22, for the American Marketing Association's eastern region conference in Niagara Falls, Canada. The presentation, entitled "Using Predictive Analytics to Find and Grow Your Most Profitable Customers" dealt with using business analytics to increase revenues and profits, and to spend your advertising/promotion dollars most efficiently. Predictive analytics involves the fields of data analysis, market research and database management. (In Sunday's Democrat & Chronicle, there was an article about Data Science as one of today's "hottest" job areas.) This two-hour presentation was attended by over 250 conference attendees.
