Developing Mindfulness in a Chaotic World

Have you read the Harvard Research that shows that practicing mindfulness meditation can literally rebuild gray matter in the brain and may provide significant cognitive and psychology benefits? In a world where we are constantly bombarded with stimuli and striving to multi-task, this simple practice can provide calm, clarity and focus. Are you ready to challenge yourself to learn about this practice as a way to address the stresses and complexities of our professional and personal lives?

The Teaching and Creativity Center and the Wellness Council invite all faculty and staff to join Donna Burke and Brian Edelbach for an experiential introduction to mindfulness. We will present the foundations of mindfulness, explore the implications of this practice in our daily lives, and share the tools to start your own mindfulness practice.

Join us Thursday, October 22 from 3:30-5 pm at the Teaching and Creativity Center Brighton Campus in Room 12-201.
