The FA “Follow Your Dream” Scholarship Committee is hoping to continue to grant scholarships to deserving students during this next academic year. Four scholarships (see attached photo of three recipients and committee) were granted at the end of the spring semester for application during this semester. A few important things to know:
1) The committee is looking for at least one or two new members. We tend to meet a few times per semester and complete much of our “business” via email.
2) Each year the scholarship honors a member of the MCC community. Carmen Powers and Jan Wiranowski were our honorees for the last two years. We are looking for nominees for this year’s honoree. Please see attached honoree nomination form.
3) Donations are accepted at any point throughout the year for this scholarship. The more donations received, the more students we can help to succeed at MCC! Please see attached donation form.
