As part of our Middle States accreditation process, a team of eight community college leaders will visit MCC March 13-16 to follow up on the College’s self-study report and gather additional information through interviews with MCC employees and students. The team will assess MCC’s performance based on 14 standards of excellence.
Attached is the team’s schedule, which is subject to change prior to and during the visit, as the schedule is driven by the evaluation team. The schedule is also posted on
<https://www.monroecc.edu/go/middlestates>. The other attachment lists the visiting members, along with their bios.
As we prepare for their visit, it is important that each of us understands the accreditation process and is familiar with MCC’s self-study report (https://www.monroecc.edu/go/middlestates), particularly in the areas that pertain to your work at MCC. Any one of us could be called upon by the evaluation team for information or an opinion. Ideally MCC employees should have at least a basic understanding of the accreditation process and its significance.
The schedule includes sessions that are open to the MCC community:
-- Open sessions are scheduled at each MCC site on the following days. It’s a Q-and-A format with the Evaluation Team Chair Dr. Quintin Bullock asking questions to seek participants’ responses.

-- On Wednesday, March 16, Dr. Bullock will deliver an oral report at 10:30 a.m. in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A and B). He and the other team members will NOT take any questions at this session.
