JOIN or SPONSOR THE MCC KIDNEY CARES WALK TEAM
Sunday, October 9 AT 10:00 AM @ Seneca Park – Rochester, NY
(approx 1.1 miles)
Many MCC staff, faculty, students, and their families (such as David and Michele Skehan, Alberta Lee, Penny Sayles, Diane Navarro, and Anne Kirkpatrick) have been affected by kidney disease, and every year the MCC Community has come through in supporting the local Rochester Community in providing services to those in need.
In late June, the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) announced, that for economic reasons, it was restructuring its organization across the country, reducing staff and eliminating services that our community desperately needs. The restructuring eliminated all staff in the Rochester and Buffalo offices. This action by NKF prompted the formation of a local Rochester organization, Kidney Cares of Western New York. They are focused solely on the needs of our local community and ensuring that all money raised in our community will stay in our community.
MCC’s support is more important than ever. You can support this effort in 4 easy ways:
1. Join the walk and bring contributions that day. You can register at https://kidneycares.org/ and also learn more about Kidney Cares of Western New York.
