An article in Sunday’s edition of the Democrat and Chronicle identified automotive technology and health information technology as emerging professions. The reporter interviewed Tanya Downs, an MCC automotive student; Kristy Graves, program coordinator of applied technologies at Applied Technologies Center; and Sharon Insero, professor and chair of the Health Professions Department. Tanya is completing her co-op with Vision Automotive Group—Hyundai this semester.
Note: Kristy was misquoted in one sentence. It should say: “Taking care of cars is one trade that can’t be outsourced.”
