The Faculty Senate invites you to join us on Wednesday, January 16th from 11 am to 2:00 pm in Monroe B (Warshof Conference Center in the Flynn Campus Center) for a faculty and staff professional development event. We will be hosting a workshop on "Helicopter Parents", parents that are over-involved in their child's educational experience. The event will begin with a presentation by Clayton Jones and Barbara Smithgall from Admissions. Lunch will be served from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. Lunch will be followed by a panel discussion until 2:00 pm. Seating is limited, so register early with Sandy Wynne at<mailto:swynne@monroecc.edu>. The deadline for registration is January 11, 2008.
