First Annual Community Agency Cookie Drop on Friday, 12/2

The MCC Admissions Office is headed out today to drop off MCC branded holiday cookies to community agencies. The cookies were made by our MCC Hospitality students. There is a card attached to the cookies to thank the organizations for all that they do for our community from MCC. This is an initiative guided by the Strategic Plan Vision 2027, and is a strategy within our recruitment plan. This is an extension of the annual cookie drop we do each Fall to feeder high schools (done in September this year). This strategy is designed to increase visibility in the community, develop and maintain relationships with community agencies that support students enrolling at MCC, and an opportunity to provide recruitment materials at various locations throughout Monroe County. Admissions will continue to engage with additional community groups, agencies, and businesses throughout the year. We are also dropping off folders, pennants, and an MCC poster to each organization. Special thanks to Rebecca Griffin, Chair of Hospitality Management, on coordinating the beautfiul cookies; and Sean Baker, Marketing, for taking our picture and posting on social media for us.
