Phishing scams are one of the fastest growing internet crimes used to steal personal information from a vast number of people. Once the thieves have your personal, sensitive or financial data they can open credit lines, get loans in your name, even declare bankruptcy using your name.
They are likely to buy "big-ticket" items like computers that they can sell easily. They will sell your information for further exploitation to other thieves or you may fall victim to organized crime. This month’s Cyber Security Newsletter teaches you to be mindful, observant and aware of email attachments.
