If you have walked by the new Engineering Design Lab in the Gleason Hall of Science and Technology (building 9, room 156), you may be wondering what our students are doing behind the floor-to-ceiling glass wall. They are gearing up win their third consecutive ASEE national robotics competition to be held in Vancouver, B.C., Canada in June.
The students are building robots that will navigate around a forest (track) and pick up only dead trees (red dowels) and leave the living trees (green dowels) untouched. The Engineering and Physics Department welcomes all of you to come by and observe our students in action on Mondays 10:00am to 1:00pm, Thursdays 8:00am to 11:00am, and Fridays 10:00am to 1:00pm.
