Ad Astra Online Requests

As of Tuesday, December 3, The Campus Events office will be moving forward with having all meeting rooms, lecture halls, computer labs (computer labs in buildings 9 and 11 only) and classroom requests for locations that do not require additional services (ex. parking, food or IT assistance) submitted online through the Ad Astra system.

Please follow this link to the site: https://astra.monroecc.edu/AstraProd7/Portal/UserPortal.aspx . You can sign into the site using your MCC username and password.

Note: The meetings rooms that you will be able to submit online requests for will be: 3-113, 3-115, 3-116, 3-117, 3-118 and 10-182. As a reminder, the Campus Events office does not schedule classrooms, lecture halls or computer labs that are department controlled.

If you are not familiar with the Ad Astra system, please see the attached manual for you to review or if you would prefer you can sign up for a training session. Please contact Yolanda Johnson (yjohnson@monroecc.edu) or Sauntevia Major (smajor1@monroecc.edu) to rvsp.

For remaining locations, please see below for the procedure to follow for reserving the space:
• Brighton Campus: Monroe A and/or B, Empire, Forum, Brighton room, Main Dining, Terrace, CC Atrium, South Atrium, North Atrium, Brick Lounge, Theatre, Living Wall, Gym, External areas (fields and parking lots)

Please contact the Campus Events office (via phone, email or walk-in) to check on an available date(s). If a date(s) is confirmed, the date will be placed on a hold for ten (10) business days (or as indicated by the Campus Events Rep) while waiting on the submission of the completed Brighton Campus application and Event Checklist.

• Downtown Campus: High Falls A and/or B

Please contact the Campus Events office (via phone, email or walk-in) to check on an available date(s). If a date(s) is confirmed, it will be placed on a hold for ten (10) business days (or as indicated by the Campus Events Rep) while waiting on the submission of the completed Downtown Campus application and Event Checklist. For this location, event requests are primarily managed by Tom Winslow or Dan Raimondo.
