The College has received notification of the registration of the following new program by the New York State Education Department for Fall 2016:
Homeland Security, A.S. Degree (HEGIS Code 5505)
The Homeland Security Associate in Science (A.S.) degree program is designed to meet the needs of students interested in pursuing a career in the field of Homeland Security. The program provides homeland security and general education courses that help prepare the student for continuing their education at a four-year institution. Upon successful completion of the program students may find employment opportunities in the private security industry as well as local, regional, state and Federal homeland security and emergency management agencies. Certain positions may also require graduates to pass a qualifying civil service exam for employment.
