The Brighton Teaching & Creativity Center (TCC) will present a live video stream of the Universal Design for Learning Workshop to be held at the Damon City Campus on Thursday, September 29, Noon-1pm. Universal Course Design offers effective teaching strategies for ensuring equal access to instruction for all students, including those with disabilities. This workshop will introduce faculty to the concept of and strategies employed by Universal Course Design (UCD) with a focus on the four key principles: curriculum, instruction, assessment, and environment. The workshop facilitator is Molly Boyle, M.A., project coordinator for the Equity and Excellence Project at the Institute for Community Inclusion at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
