Please let your students know they may qualify for a free or low cost plan insurance plan through the New York State Insurance Marketplace, and applications for these plans can be made year round. Any member of the MCC community may meet with a certified application counselor on campus or near home to learn about the options and sign up easily with any of the plans offered.
Current schedules are Monday and Tuesday 10am-1pm and Thursdays 9am-11am until 5/19/16, in the Brick Lounge of bldg.1, facing into the Flynn Campus Center Atrium. Or they may call the NYS Marketplace Helpline at 1-855-355-5777 or check the website at nystateofhealth.ny.gov. If a student doesn’t qualify for affordable insurance , please direct them to our office for information about community resources for the uninsured.
In addition, flu shots are still available in Health Services for students, at no charge- whether or not they have insurance. They may call 292-2018 or stop into our office at 3-165 to schedule an appointment while supplies last. Thank you!
