Do you love to decorate with glass jars but need some inspiration on how to make them pretty? The next Craft Club workshop will teach participants how to decorate a glass jar with a Valentine’s or Snowflake theme. Join us on Tuesday, January 28 from 5:15 pm to 7:00 pm in 9-116/118. Kits include a glass jar with a lid, fairy lights and other materials to create a unique project to display or use in other ways. The cost will be $7 per project. Cash payments only will be collected at the event. Light refreshments will be provided.

Space is limited. Please RSVP no later than Friday, January 24, 4:00 pm with "Valentine Glass Jar" or “Snowflake Glass Jar” in the subject line to Diane Wilson (dwilson19@monroecc.edu).

  • Valentine's Jar: Glass jar made into luminary with fairy lights inside, decorated with red vellum paper with heart cutouts and glitter hearts on the outside.  The rim of the jar's lid is decorated with a red ribbon that says "Happy Valentine's Day" and a red knob is added to the top of the lid.
  • Snowflake Jar: Glass jar made into luminary with fairy lights inside, decorated with silver, white, and black snowflake-patterned vellum paper. The rim of the jar's lid is decorated with silver glitter to make it sparkle and a black knob is added to the top of the lid.
