Jim Costello Retirement
Please join us on Wednesday, October 16th from 4pm to 5pm, in room 3-115 to Celebrate the Retirement of Jim Costello, Head Custodian.
Jim has given 13 years of dedicated service and has been an excellent addition to our department. He started on the evening shift in 2011. He has cleaned many areas over the years but ATC was one of the areas that he shined and showed his quality of work and independence. Jim received a promotion to Custodian, and was transferred to the Day shift, where he was a welcomed asset to the Residence Halls. Jim was a great example for the students and was a person of quality work. The housing office said that they were truly grateful for his dedicated service, commitment and positive interactions with both staff and students which made a lasting impact on their community. A year later Jim received another promotion to Head Custodian, where he became the night shift Supervisor. It was a tough change that he made the best of.. He took a hard job and made it his own and has always come through for the department when needed.
We will miss Jim’s personality the most. He’s always in a good mood and has great people skills. Jim plans to spend time with his family and grandchildren in retirement and bring his motorcycle sidecar back to road worthiness… We wish Jim nothing but the Best!!
