Sylvia Mendez Selected for United Way Leadership Program

Congratulations to Sylvia Mendez on being selected to participate in the United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes' 2022 Latino Leadership Development Program (LLDP).  Sylvia was selected for this highly competitve six week program through an intensive application and interview process. 

Sylvia serves as the Associate Director of Financial Aid where she has worked since 2015.  In her role she provides leadership for the office and operations to provide financial aid resources to students to promote opportunity for access and success. 

The LLDP was established to identify, train, and promote the placement of Latinos on boards, committees, community projects, and policy-making positions in order to ensure the Greater Rochester community and organizations are tapping the full potential of the Latino community. For more than 40 years the program has been given Latinos the opportunity to enhance their professional and personal skills as business and community leaders.
