This is the time of year when MCC shows off its many outstanding accomplishments. The recent victory for the national championship by the MCC Women’s Lacrosse Team is but one example of MCC’s excellence.
This past weekend twenty-one members of the MCC College Chorus journeyed to New York City to sing the Brahms’s Requiem in Carnegie Hall as part of the Masterworks Festival Chorus, Dr. Donald Neuen conductor. Needless to say, any time one gets to perform from the stage of Carnegie Hall is a major high point in life and it surely was for these twenty-one.
Tomorrow night, Wednesday May 15th, these same twenty-one singers, joined by the twenty plus other members of the Chorus unable to make the trip will again present the Brahms at the annual Music Department Spring Vocal Concert. Under the direction of Dr. Rollo Fisher, the performance is at 7:30 pm in the Theatre and is free. Please join all the vocal performance groups as we celebrate the end of the academic year.
