Be a good public health citizen and take proactive steps to keep you, your family and your colleagues healthy this flu season. MCC is providing some healthy resources to help in the flu fight:
1. By now you have noticed the many hand sanitizing stations across the college. Close to 100 are in place or have been ordered. A list of locations will be posted on our MCC and H1N1 web site soon.
2. Sanitizing wipe dispensers are on their way. These individually wrapped sanitizing wipes can be used to wipe down desks, doorknobs or other common-use surfaces. Their locations will be posted on our MCC and H1N1 web site as soon as they are in place.
3. To help us respond to this pandemic, departments may use their budgets to purchase tissues and hand sanitizer for office use.
4. Human Resources will be offering seasonal flu vaccine for employees on Oct. 6 and 7; Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance will cover the cost of the employee vaccination.
