Celebrating NAEYC Week of the Young Child

The child care center was busy celebrating the Week of the Young Child spotlighting the author Eric Carle!  The days consisted of Music Monday, Arsty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Tasty Thursday and Family Friday.  Several guest readers from campus came to the center to read to the children throughout the week.  Family Friday ended with an Art Show for the families and a Story Book Walk of Brown Bear, Brown Bear in front of the center. A big thank you to Jamie in the Print Shop for helping with the signs. The Art Show will be displayed in building 4 and the Story Book Walk will be displayed along the sidewalk by the pond in the next few weeks.  

The child care center is recognized as a nationally accredited program through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
