Julie Damerell (Transitional Studies) presented “Book Buddies: A Journey Through Time and Space” at the National Association for Developmental Education (NADE) Conference February 27 - March 1, 2008, in Boston, Massachusetts. She extends her thanks to all the generous MCC professionals who have traveled with her students since 2003 as book buddies, reading and writing about Kindred, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, Tuesdays with Morrie, and The Five People You Meet in Heaven.
