Elizabeth Johnston Poetry Workshop

Elizabeth Johnston (English & Philosophy) is one of two local poets selected by NYS Poet Laureate Patricia Spears Jones to lead a series of free poetry workshops for the Rochester community. These workshops draw inspiration from Walt Whitman's Democratic Vistas (1871) and are funded by an American Academy of Poets grant and sponsored by Writers and Books. Elizabeth's two-part workshop is entitled Mother of Invention: Poetry and Persona. You can read her workshop description and learn more about the other workshops.

Elizabeth's workshop will be offered on 2 consecutive Saturdays:
