MCC's United Way Campaign has reached 79% of its $90,000 goal for 2003. The official end of the MCC campaign was scheduled for April 28, but it has been extended through May 13 to close the $19,000 gap.
Contributions continue to come in, but with the close of the campaign on May 13, everyone is encouraged to get their pledge forms in as soon as possible. Don't wait until the last minute! Pledges and donations are accepted on a daily basis.
With community needs on the increase, donations from MCC employees are vital. The news from United Way headquarters shows the overall Rochester area community campaign also struggling. This puts an additional responsibility on MCC to show leadership in giving. We can still make our goal. Thirty percent of our community has yet to respond, and everyone has the opportunity to increase their giving, even if they have already sent in their pledge cards.
