Employee Recognition Program - Tribune Tribute

The "Tribune Tribute" is a new opportunity to recognize College faculty and staff for their outstanding service or their exceptional contribution to student success! Nominations may be made by a student, parent, community partner, vendor, colleague, supervisor or any member of the College community!

Criteria for a Tribune Tribute:

  • Demonstrated commitment to student success and the College's mission, vision and values

OR

  • Exemplary activities or actions that are over and above normal customer service or expectations

Nominations can be made in multiple ways, via the website Tribune Tribute, on myMCC Employee Home tab under "Highlights," or on a nomination card available throughout all college campuses. An employee committee will review the nominations to determine whether the nominee merits a Tribune Tribute award; or an acknowledgement by the Vice President of the nominee's division.

Employees receiving a Tribune Tribute award will appear in the Daily Tribune pictured with the college mascot and a description of the performance recognized. The Board of Trustees will receive the employee information contained in the Tribune article and will acknowledge the Tribune Tribute at a Board meeting. The employee will receive a pre-purchased gift from the bookstore.

Watch for Tribune Tribute posters displayed throughout the college campuses this week. Nomination cards will be distributed to departments and areas frequented by students.
